I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The suite I stayed in was spacious with a full kitchenette and a quiet view of the swimming pool from the balcony. The air-conditioning could use a bit of a refresh for better heating, but overall, it was fantastic. The location, a little to the west of Funchal’s center, offered both peace and convenience, although the steep hills can be a challenge for some. The dining experience was varied with plenty of options, but maybe a few more seasonal fruits would have been nice. The service was impeccable with a range of amenities offered. Great value for the price paid.
