Reviews and Ratings
The hotel room was larger than most with plenty of storage space. I can't fault the service; for a good price. However, the room issue not being fixed until halfway through my stay was unacceptable.
The hotel offers clean and tidy rooms with a garden view, albeit a little dated. The space is spacious and clean, though slightly dim. The service is attentive, providing room service, car hire, and valet parking. The location is excellent near restaurants, bars, and a shopping center. Dining options range from salad to a variety of bread and cereal, catering to different tastes.
The hotel provided a beautiful room with a very nice view, and it was more than suitable for our needs. The bed was comfortable, and having a smaller kitchen with a proper working fridge/freezer was a great convenience. However, the need for an upgrade was noticeable.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The suite I stayed in was spacious with a full kitchenette and a quiet view of the swimming pool from the balcony. The air-conditioning could use a bit of a refresh for better heating, but overall, it was fantastic. The location, a little to the west of Funchal’s center, offered both peace and convenience, although the steep hills can be a challenge for some. The dining experience was varied with plenty of options, but maybe a few more seasonal fruits would have been nice. The service was impeccable with a range of amenities offered. Great value for the price paid.
The hotel had some drawbacks like dated rooms with old amenities and a lack of sunlight in the room, but the location was convenient with nearby dining options and lovely gardens. The service was satisfactory with various amenities available. The dining experience offered a good selection of food but lacked some freshness. The facilities were decent overall.
The hotel had a rather dated and worn-out decor, with rooms that felt stuck in the past and in need of renovation. Despite some shortcomings, the service was reliable and helpful. The location, while not utilized much, was convenient for shopping and dining. The dining options were decent, offering a good variety of foods. Overall, the hotel's facilities were satisfactory but could use some updating.
